A very smart red-breasted merganser was in Weymouth Harbour this morning, just east of the Town Bridge.
Today (Wednesday) I came across another very approachable merganser, this time a female at Ferrybridge.
And now the same bird slowed right down so you can appreciate its features.
Finally, here are some displaying near Sandsfoot Castle, filmed several years ago.
