Waders on their way southWith migration at its peak we'll be looking for rare waders on route to Africa from their arctic breeding grounds. |

We meet at the western end of the reserve where the car park has a very awkward width restrictor. If you're not keen on this you can always park near the Sealife Centre and walk across the miniature railway field. If you decide to do this look out for Kingfishers along the streams and Pied Wagtails on the car park. |

We should start to see waders right away, with Black-tailed Godwits being amongst the largest and most obvious. |
In the summer months butterflies swarm over these clifftops, with the various species of blues most obvious as they fly over the grassy banks. |
